This weekend I worked on a sewing project (sorry...can not post yet ... 'tis the season for secrecy). However I did get my October Card Swap done for our group on Facebook (FB). October's theme was boy birthday. Although the colors I chose were not traditional boy colors, it could still work for a boy birthday I think! We only had to make 7, and I have been holding onto this paper from Scenic Route for about 2 years, not really knowing what to do with it. I used Sure Cuts Alot to cut out the black and ivory paper (with the stamp). I ran the black pieces through my Cuttlebug using the "Spots & Dots" embossing folder and the outside stamp is from Recollections. I used more of the Scenic Route paper inside the card and attached it with some brads. The inside stamp is from Stampin' Up from the "Whimsical Words" set.
Tah Dah...the finished product! :)
There ya have it folks! My first post to my crafty blog! Until next time!
Wishing you well,
